If things go wrong

This procedure should be followed when you have discussed your concerns with a member of GSA’s staff and the Quality Manager and a resolution acceptable to you has not been found.

  1. Initially, contact Peter Shattock, (Managing Director of GSA), by writing to GSA Ltd, 2 Blue Prior Business Park, Redfields Lane, Church Crookham, Fleet Hampshire GU52 0RJ. Alternatively you can call him on 01252 616631 or send an email to peter.shattock@gsabc.co.uk

  2. Peter will look at all the facts and circumstances associated with your complaint and give you a response within five working days of the date you initially contacted him. Any subsequent correspondence will also be responded to within five working days.

  3. If you aren’t satisfied with Peter’s response, let him know and he will provide you with a link to the complaints section of the Construction Industry Council Approved Inspector Register (CICAIR) website, which details their formal complaints procedure. The Construction Industry Council regulates the conduct of Approved Inspectors on behalf of central Government.

  4. You can then pursue your complaint by referring it to CICAIR at 26 Store Street, London, WC1E 7BT.

  5. The decision of the CICAIR will be final and binding on all the parties involved.
